International Fair of Medicine and Dental Medicine – Medident, the 42nd edition, will be held on October 12 – 14, 2017 at Belgrade Fair Hall 4. Medident is devoted to health, prevention, contemporary treatment methods and scientific achievements promotion in all medical and dental sections.
Three business events were festively opened at Belgrade Fair – 13th International Energy Fair, 14th International Fair of Environmental and Natural Resource Protection – EcoFair and the 6th International Smart Technology Fair – iSEC – Smart and Safe Cities.
On the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of Belgrade Fair operation beginning, on September 11, 1937, this really global Anniversary was celebrated by the appropriate festivity at the Sava Promenade, with the view to the place on the other bank of the Sava, where the Fair opened its gates for visitors.
Belgrade Fair has already celebrated its great Anniversary – eight decades since establishing, in various ways – by celebration, exhibition, the Anniversary stamp edition… and on the occasion of the 80th Birthday, Belgrade Fair published also the Monograph.
The International Smart Technology Fair – iSEC – Smart and Safe Cities was established as the logical evaluation of its famous precedent event devoted to high technologies supporting public and private security. This year’s 6th iSEC is dominated by high technologies supporting any other urban services characteristic for the “smart and safe cities”.
The International Fairs Energy 2017 and EcoFair 2017 are held under the same roof, at the same time and under the mutual motto New Energy, in order to show the fact they represent two substantially connected sides of a unique global phenomenon, the global trend with the objective of sustainable development and Circular Economy.
Belgrade Fair employees have been proving their devotion to their jobs for eight decades by successful organizing of many events, but on festive and less formal occasions they certainly can be funny and creative. Look how the employees celebrate Belgrade Fair’s 80th Birthday with laughter and joy, releasing 80 blue and white balloons.
Belgrade Fair history with the incredible development from the beginning as example in the exhibition industry of Europe at that time was most tragically marked during the Second World War, when an execution field was formed at the fair ground.
Beside the anniversary celebration and various events following the establishing and development of Belgrade Fair, it is time also for a real birthday text. Of course, we remember and respect history, but we go forward, since it is the only thing in accordance with such a great, successful international institution.
In a few days, more precisely – on September 11, Belgrade Fair celebrates 80 years since its establishing. On the occasion of this important Anniversary, the Fair issued the personalized mail stamp in the limited series.
