If you have ever passed by Belgrade Fair, passed through it, exhibited something there, met somebody, invited someone to join you, now is the time to support Belgrade Fair.
The Belgrade Fair has decided to cancel the International Furniture Fair and the International Fair of Machines and Tools for the Wood Industry, which was planned to take place from 10 to 15 November 2020, as well as the International Fair of Medicine and Dentistry that was planned to take place from 15 to 17 October.
The International Belgrade Book Fair, which was planned for October 25 – November 1, 2020, is postponed. If epidemiological conditions allow, it will be held in mid-December this year.
Participating with all its capacities and resources in the fight against the global pandemic, and due to the character and scope of its activities, the Belgrade Fair has reached a vicious circle of business depression, from which it is almost impossible to get out without serious state support and increased respect for its activity.
The Belgrade Fair was founded on this day, September 11, 1937. During the past decades, it was one of the leaders in the creation and realization of the economic life of the country, hosted about 500,000 exhibitors from 180 countries, hosted almost 65 million visitors, and organized nearly 3,300 events.
On Wednesday, September 9, 2020, the Belgrade Fair performed an all-night symbolic performance called “Red Alert for the Fair Industry”.
As a regional leader in exhibition activities and a member of the most prominent, large and extremely powerful community of major world exhibitions, the Belgrade Fair has been and remains a mainstay for connecting the world economy with the region and promoting the domestic across the world since its beginnings in 1937.
After the spring had passed completely without exhibitions, the fall will obviously be the same, by the decisions of the Crisis Staff of the Republic of Serbia. For us as exhibition organizers, that results in the income of 0 RSD from March until now.

This year’s Global Exhibition Day, which takes place every year on the first Wednesday in June, will mark the Belgrade Fair under pressure from the consequences and circumstances imposed by the global devastating effects of the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
