International Fair of Medicine and Dental Medicine – Medident, the 42nd edition, will be held on October 12 – 14, 2017 at Belgrade Fair Hall 4.
Medident is devoted to health, prevention, contemporary treatment methods and scientific achievements promotion in all medical and dental sections. It is the oldest fair event of this type in the region, where the local and international exhibitors present dental, medical and laboratory equipment and tools, pharmaceutical products and services from various medical branches. This is the venue of intensive business meetings of manufacturers, sellers and medical equipment users, the venue where the experts exchange and get their new skills and experiences.
The development and continuously growing interest of both exhibitors and visitors in this fair event shows the fact that more than 100 exhibitors from even about fifteen countries are expected this year. Thus, the whole event has been moved this year from the “traditional” Hall 3 to the larger Belgrade Fair Hall 4.
In accordance with the Medident mission to help in health preservation and make human life easier and better, this event visitors also expect impatiently the traditional presentation actions, free examinations, massage treatments, various demonstration practices, brief educational programs, voluntary blood spending actions and many other services.
The extremely plentiful side event program is also intended for this, with current lectures, promotions and presentations, organized both at the exhibitors’ stands and in a special audio/video/equipped space. Beside the program with humanitarian and educational dimension, intended for anyone, Medident also offers highly expert contents devoted to the professionals. The basic part of this year’s program, devoted just to them, is the three days symposium with accredited lectures within dental medicine, where the necessary license points may be acquired.
The professional highly specialized exhibiting section of the Fair program, will also be, as always, rich in the excelusive offer intended for various medical fields. Hence, for instance, Iatropolis Clinic from Athens, specialized in radiosurgery and radiotherapy, having state of the art technique for cancer treatment at the brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, uterus, ovaries and prostate, will present Cyber and TomoKnife , robotic devices with extremely precise impact to the diseased tissue by high radiotherapy doses and do not damage the healthy cells during it. This year’s Medident has got another privilege – it will be opened by Professor Dr. Nadežda Basara, chematologist and oncologist, our and one of the global experts for the stem cells transplantation.
Medident will be open on October 12 and 13 from 10.00 a. m. to 7.00 p. m. and on October 14 until 6.00 p. m.
Individual entry tickets cost RSD. 300.00, the group ones RSD. 150.00 and the car parking shall be paid RSD.100.00 per one hour.
