As the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Serbia has not improved, the council of the Belgrade Book Fair estimated that there are no conditions for the realization of the event in the planned December term.
The International Belgrade Book Fair, which was planned for October 25 – November 1, 2020, is postponed. If epidemiological conditions allow, it will be held in mid-December this year.
The awards at the 64th International Belgrade Book Fair were officially presented in filled to the brim “Ivo Andrić” hall, which unfortunately could not accommodate all those interested in attending the event.

“School Day”, created for the organized visits of pupils, teachers, school librarians, students and Professors, is on October 26, this year. As usually, it is Thursday and publishers prepare plentiful program for this day, adapted to both older and younger school children, their teachers and lecturers.
Contemporary literature of a great and polycentric European language – German, gathered four countries at the Book Fair this year – Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Lichtenstein. The writers and publishers from these countries will present to the visitors in the next seven days about a thousand books of contemporary authors, among them even 350 tiles as premiere.
The attendees, visitors and media representatives often describe Book Fair as a magnificent event and this is supported also by the figures obtained by the organizers after the closing of the 61st review of publishing, literature and culture at Belgrade Fair.
