Bogdan Kršić Award – for The Most Beautiful Book 2016, was awarded by the unanimous jury decision at the 61st International Belgrade Book Fair to the Book Edition Ars/Techne. In the Borut Vild’s postpress, the book editor is Faculty of Media and Communications from Belgrade. This year, all jury members were from the Faculty of Applied Arts: Professor Jugoslav Vlahović, Jury President and Docents Tijana Kojić and Olivera Batajić Sretenović.
The Special Young Designer Award was awarded to the Designer Jana Vuković for the Book Postpress of the Publishing Company Arete from Belgrade.
Books of the new publisher Arete featured also the new young designer – Jana Vuković, who used the provided opportunity and featured herself already by her first works as a skilled artist and designer, who feels the book and has got excellence skills in both typography and illustration. Her original, handmade illustrations on the covers contribute to the book beauty and impact the recognizability of this publishing company.
