The first “Agro Belgrade”, is the first specialized fruit, wine and vegetable growing fair that started on Thursday, 30 January in the halls 1, 1A and 4 at Belgrade Fair, and will last until Saturday, 1 February 2020. The fair is open to visitors every day between 10:00 and 17:00.
Over 500 exhibitors, including the world’s largest companies in these fields, are taking part in the event. Over the course of 12 conferences, that are being held in parallel with the exhibition program, various topics are being covered, such as Serbia’s export perspectives and position on the world market, agricultural financing and development, food inspection and security and export procedures, organic production perspectives, export association systems, development of personnel in agriculture, indigenous grape varieties, export perspectives of berries, advanced agro-production and technology, protection and nutrition of plants, cooperatives, technical and digital achievements in agriculture, distribution to specific world markets, etc.
“Agro Belgrade” is conceived as a leading trade fair and conference event in the Western Balkans and Southeastern Europe, a place where the world’s largest buyers of fruits and vegetables, domestic producers, equipment manufacturers, machinery, seed houses, nurseries, cooperatives and other industry experts show what they have, know, can and want. An exhibition of state-of-the-art machinery used for the production, processing and packaging of fruits and vegetables is currently on display.
