The International Motor Show, the oldest and the most representative regional event in the automotive industry, which marked its remarkable jubilee, 80 years of existence last year, and the International Motopassion Motorcycle, Quad, Scooter and Equipment Show will be presented to visitors at Belgrade Fair over the course of 10 fair days, from 22 March until 31 March, 2019.
Under the motto “In the rear mirror”, this year’s 54th edition of Motor Show will be in fact the biggest auto-moto event at that moment in the world. As one of only 15 such automotive happenings around the world in this year’s OICA calendar, the umbrella international organization of motor vehicle manufacturers, Belgrade Salon has a very “special” place – between the legendary, globally charismatic Geneva Salon and the one in Seoul, one of the capitals of the world’s atomotive industry.
Participation at Salon, in halls 1, 1A, 2, 3, 3A, 4 and 5 of Belgrade Fair, provided more than 400 direct and indirect exhibitors from thirty countries, and none of the manufacturers, importers, representatives or distributors of automobile brands that operate on our market will be exempted.
The visitors will find a complete offer of all types of road transport, automobile and related industries, light delivery vehicles and garage-service equipment, as well as offers by banks, leasing and insurance companies, which will help potential buyers solve their dilemmas regarding the choice and purchase of a new vehicle or some of the additional services in the best possible way. An integral part of this offer are for sure new technological solutions in the field of alternative drives, environmental improvement or design advanced steps, whilst manufacturers have made efforts to announce dozens of such surprises in the pre-trial period.
It is no news that it is with the greatest impatience and curiosity that the the most exclusive part of this world car event is expected- the premieres, especially those from the premium and sports segment, especially considering the fact that the legendary Geneva Salon is ending just before the start of Belgrade Motor Show, and that the first world post-premieres, according to the logic of things, are expected at Belgrade Fair.
This year, the premier hyper-exclusive row of vehicles is represented by Rolls-Royce “Cullinan” megamodel, the leading manufacturer of super-luxury cars. It is the first SUV model of this company, the workload of the engine is 6.75 liters, with which it develops 563 horsepower. Although weighing more than 2.5 tonnes, it reaches the “hundredth” in only 5.2 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 per hour, and, according to manufacturer, average fuel consumption of 15 liters per 100 kilometers. Luxurious interior and latest technologies are implied, depending on additional customer requirements, and cost 400-500 thousand euros. Rolls-Royce will be exhibited at Hall 2A, as a special guest of Delta Motors.
It is a long, but not finalized one (we remind you of possible surprises from Geneva) list of premiers and novelties announced by local importers and distributors – Mercedes-Benz, BMW, British motors, Honda, Toyota … – and in premium and domestic pocket more accessible segments.
The thirteenth edition of the International Motopassion Motorcycle, Quad, Scooter and Equipment Show will, under the slogan “We See the Roads That We Have Not Yet Travelled,” present the richest offer of motorcycles of all relevant world brands, including numerous premieres and new quad models, i.e., ATV vehicles, scooters, electric bikes and equipment for vehicles and drivers. Unlike the previous ones, this year’s “Motopassion” will be located in hall 2, level C at Belgrade Fair.
This year’s strategic partners – Association of Road Vehicle Manufacturers of Serbia, Serbian Association of Vehicle and Parts Importers and General Sponsor of DDOR Novi Sad – have been irreplaceable and competent associates in the realization of these events.
Devoted visitors to these fairs, car and motorcycle enthusiasts, but also the professionals and public, already know that from 22 March until 31 March, they can expect an extremely wide range of additional informative, educational, entertainment contents, awards at Belgrade Fair, among which are the “car of the year” in various categories, “Miss Show” … One day, “Family Day”, that will be adapted to the whole family with children.
