BG Third Age Fair, the fifth edition, is held on February 28 and March 1 at Belgrade Fair Hall 3. Last year, the Fair was visited by about 25 thousand retired persons and this year’s event will be marked by the Senior Card presentation. Thus, it is held under the slogan The Venue Where Your Senior Card is Valid More. In three months, more than 200 thousand Senior Cards were issued. Owing to them, the retired persons may accomplish considerable discounts at about 800 points of sale.
The Fair devoted to the oldest townsmen consists of three sections – the educational, amusing and information ones. So far, more than fifty exhibitors have been confirmed.
The objective of all activities and programs is support to the oldest townsmen awaited at the Fair by educational workshops with the advices for healthy life, nutrition and physical activities, then the selection of Serbian Miss Senior, Danceport, Find a Similar Soul, i.e. anything the Third Age people expressed their interest in.
On the first Fair day, the visitors will be able to enjoy also the review of singing and folklore bands. On the second day, a program of exercises for healthier getting old is organized, weaving workshops, public training lessons for the Internet use and English language. Beside this plentiful offer, the retired persons will be able to participate in the prize games, as well, win valuable gifts and many discounts, find out and select the way to fill in the leisure and forget their loneliness.
BG Third Age Fair was established in 2014 and it is the largest trade fair of this type in the region. It is organized by the specialized magazine Retirement, under cooperation with the City of Belgrade, Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy, Belgrade Fair and other partners.
The Fair entry is free of charge.
