Setting the benchmark for the region’s healthcare sector, the 49th Medident International Fair of Medicine and Stomatology officially launched its annual run in Hall 3, beautifully uniting top-tier business networking with the region’s premier commercial and educational showcase for dental care and medicine.
Under the slogan “Together Towards Health,” Medident gathers this year, alongside domestic ones, a large number of exhibitors from Italy, North Korea, China, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Great Britain, Switzerland, and America.
In the same time slot, running parallel in Hall 5, is the 25th Congress of Dentists of Serbia organized by the Dental Chamber of Serbia, where domestic and foreign lecturers will speak, and all professional topics will be professionally accredited and carry a total of 26 points.
At the official opening ceremony, Dr. Marko Gojnić, Director of the Dental Chamber of Serbia, addressed the audience, welcoming all present and expressing his enthusiasm for the organization of the Fair.
“Crossing the threshold this morning to find our continuing education programs beautifully flanked by world-class exhibition floors filled me with immense pride; this is precisely the standard Belgrade deserves. Belgrade, as the center of a large region that possesses great potential, demonstrated this year that the synergy of the Dental Chamber of Serbia, the Belgrade Fair, and the exhibitors who make up this Fair indicates that Medident has the potential for further growth.”
“I must say that what I see at the Fair are some things that I have not had the opportunity to see either abroad or at some larger exhibition spaces. Our exhibitors are doing their job well, and I am glad that this is so, and that all innovative things will continue to be shown right here in the future,” Gojnić said.
From the Fair’s program, he particularly highlighted the “Walk and Talk” presentations that will be organized throughout the duration of the Fair, where visitors will have the opportunity to see presentations of specific materials and works. He also invited everyone interested to visit Hall 5, where the 25th Congress of Dentists of Serbia is taking place.
During his address, Gojnić also conveyed the positive impressions of foreign exhibitors regarding the organization of this year’s Medident.
This year as well, manufacturers, importers, and distributors of medical, dental, and laboratory equipment have gathered once again in one place with the most modern technology, equipment, and consumables, alongside representatives of international companies and healthcare institutions, to exchange professional knowledge and experiences.
The most represented field at this year’s Medident is dental medicine, within which exhibitors will present to visitors a wide assortment of modern equipment and solutions intended for this branch of medicine.
A spotlight will be cast on the digital revolution reshaping modern dentistry, alongside pioneering therapeutic modalities, marked by an unprecedented influx of healthcare-focused IT enterprises showcasing medical software.
A large number of renowned companies traditionally participate in this event, but this year’s edition will also gather a significant number of new exhibitors.
Beyond the commercial trade floor, the fair offers a stimulating peripheral program packed with live procedures, peer-to-peer presentations, and interactive clinical circles.
