After the ‘underlining’ of the just finished events – 55th International Fair of Furniture, Equipment and Interior Decoration and the 55th International Fair of Woodworking Machines, Tools and Production Materials – Belgrade Fair can certainly be satisfied.

At this largest event of the woodworking and furniture industry in this part of Europe, at more than 60 thousand square meters, in ten halls – three more than at the previous event, more than 520 exhibitors from 45 countries featured their products and services.

Belgrade Fair hosted much more international business visitors and the precise number of all those who looked at this year’s offer and exhibition is – 58,311. Through defined thematic and program units the exhibitors presented state of the art solutions in furniture production, offered their services and made contacts with their colleagues and consumers from the whole world.

The events were also this year focused to design, innovations, high quality and functional furniture and highlighted by the state of the art machines and tools used in the furniture production.

The Fair gathered distinguished companies from Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain, etc. Under the premiere attendance of important global companies and brands – Vitra, Elica, Mattiazzi, LaCividina, Forestier, Petite Friture, Mobles 114 and Emko, a step forward was made in quality and the reputation of indisputable regional center was confirmed.

Featuring the local woodworking industry as the strategic economic branch, Serbian companies showed their readiness to compete equally at the global market and participate in the international economic trends.

Last year featured premiere designer unit Design Talks, was successfully repeated this year, as well – the colleagues, visitors and consumers talked to designers and architects and they transferred their vision of the direction to which the furniture industry was moving.

Young designers, still inadequately affirmed, also got the opportunity to feature to the publics, since new authors and fresh solutions were promoted at the Young Designer Exhibition.

The International Jury granted the prestigious award Golden Key also at the 55th Furniture and Woodworking Industry Show to the most innovative and most successful exhibitors in several categories. This year’s innovation is The Fair Key Award, established by Belgrade Fair for the exhibitors who highlighted in a specific way their product range and especially created their attendance.

This attractive event, both a business one and the one for the general publics, was followed by many media, which daily transferred their readers and viewers the events and innovations from this year’s Furniture Fair.
