Beside the anniversary celebration and various events following the establishing and development of Belgrade Fair, it is time also for a real birthday text. Of course, we remember and respect history, but we go forward, since it is the only thing in accordance with such a great, successful international institution.
Belgrade Fair was established on this date 80 years ago. In these eight decades, it participated very actively in the creation and realisation of the economic life of Serbia, it hosted many exhibitors, countless visitors. ’The Place Seen by the Whole World’ is not the Fair slogan by coincidence, it is very much founded in the realistic events.
We have the opportunity today to say proudly we are an inevitable part of important economic and social events during the previous eighty years. Nobody denies there were also difficult days, but they are behind us. We are strongly going forward now, entering the ninth decade ready to do anything in order to make it even better and more successful than the previous ones. It is clear to everyone who just ’looks for a moment’ at the fair event calendar this decision should be beyond any doubt. We are ready for many great projects. We have got knowledge and experience and, in order to wait also for our future birthdays as a successful company – as a good host, with welcome, we are waiting for all old and new exhibitors and visitors of ours. It has been clear to us since long time that we built our trade fair empire only with such cooperation, with business partners and curious spectators.
With our gratitude for all nice wishes and congratulations we were receiving in recent days from the whole Serbia and the world, it is time now at Belgrade Fair – for celebration.
