On May 11, 2026, representatives of the Board of the 69th Belgrade International Book Fair convened at the Belgrade Fair for their third session.
In addition to the Board members, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Association of Professional Publishers of Serbia and Independent Publishers.
The participants discussed ways to further enhance the joint presentation of content at the Book Fair.
In the spirit of long-standing and successful cooperation, it was agreed that the publishers’ associations would submit their proposals aimed at enhancing the event and its overall program.
This year, the Belgrade International Book Fair will take place from October 23 to 31, with opening hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. At this year’s Fair, Tunisia will hold the title of Guest of Honor.
Recognized as one of the region’s premier literary events, the Belgrade International Book Fair serves as a meeting point for prominent publishers from Serbia and the wider region, who showcase their annual publishing production.
The primary goal of the Fair is to facilitate connections among publishers, authors, booksellers, librarians, distributors, multimedia companies, and other participants in the publishing industry. Equally important is the fact that this Fair provides opportunities to exchange experiences, build partnerships, encourage the exchange of knowledge, business cooperation and cultural dialogue.
