The wait is over at last — The top auto-moto exhibition of the year has officially opened.

Through March 24, the Belgrade Fair will be open to all driving enthusiasts who share a passion for cars, motorcycles, scooters, quads, and bicycles, offering the richest lineup the Fair has ever hosted.

The opening ceremony of the DDOR BG CAR SHOW and the 18th International Motorcycle, Scooter, Quad and Equipment Fair, “Motopassion”, was graced by Fabrizio Giugiaro—renowned designer behind iconic models such as the Lamborghini Gallardo, Bentley Bentayga, Volkswagen W12, BMW Nazca, as well as the Daewoo Matiz and SEAT Ateca.

Addressing the audience in Serbian, he noted that it was a true honor to be part of the event at the Belgrade Fair.

“As an architect, I am truly awe-struck by this fantastic structure. Yesterday and today, I had the opportunity to see what is displayed here, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised that more than half of the world’s brands are present, along with real competition we have from Asian and Chinese vehicles.”

Marko Blažić, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Belgrade Fair, also addressed the audience, emphasizing the institution’s proud and longstanding tradition of organizing events that bring together leading companies, cutting-edge technologies, and top brands—reinforcing its role as a regional hub for business and innovation.

“We have brought together an impressive 216 exhibitors and as many as 50 automotive brands, with 42 set to premiere a total of 73 models. In the motorcycle and equipment segment, 82 exhibitors will showcase 46 moto and ATV brands, 16 of which will introduce 32 premieres. Altogether, this underscores the scale and significance of the event.”

Blažić also extended special thanks to DDOR UNIPOL GROUP Novi Sad and SAT Media Group for their long-standing cooperation and partnership.

This year, the Fair offers visitors an unparalleled opportunity to explore the full spectrum of the auto-moto industry in one place.

“The Belgrade Fair will remain a place of meetings and innovation in the future,” he concluded.

On behalf of DDOR UNIPOL GROUP Novi Sad, which is celebrating 80 years of business this year, Vladimir Malešević, President of the Executive Board, expressed great satisfaction with the company’s 12-year cooperation with the Belgrade Fair, calling it highly significant.

Aleksandra Đurđević, speaking on behalf of the Serbian Association of Vehicle and Parts Importers, noted that the Association is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. “Over these three decades, the automotive industry has undergone its most profound transformation—from a fully mechanical sector to one in which vehicles are highly technological and digitally sophisticated products.”

She added that this transformation has been clearly visible throughout the association’s 30 years of cooperation with the Fair. Speaking about this year’s Car Show, she emphasized that it reflects the rapid pace of change within the industry: “This year, we are welcoming 20 more car brands and 30 more motorcycle brands than two years ago.” Electrification remains the central focus this year, with more than 70 fully electric models on display.

A notable feature of this year’s fair is that all halls are operating at full capacity. Driven by strong exhibitor interest, every hall has been transformed into exhibition space, providing visitors with an exceptionally rich and diverse showcase.

The standout attraction at the SAT Media Group display in Hall 1 is the Vanquish Volante, an Aston Martin priced at half a million euros, excluding additional equipment.

This year’s DDOR BG CAR SHOW 09 will feature 216 exhibitors. A record 50 car brands will be represented, with 42 unveiling a total of 73 premieres. Among the 12 exhibitors of light commercial vehicles, 4 brands will present 7 premieres. At “Motopassion,” 82 exhibitors will showcase 46 moto and ATV brands, including 16 brands introducing 32 premieres.

Hall 1 is traditionally reserved for standard brands, alongside two new arrivals, while Hall 1A will, for the first time, be dedicated to car exhibitions.

Halls 2A and 2B will feature a mix of well-established and emerging brands. Hall 3 is set aside for premium vehicles, while Hall 3A will showcase light commercial vehicles.

Halls 2B and 2C are designated for automotive equipment, and Hall 2, Level C, will host daily RC model competitions.

Hall 4 is reserved for Motopassion, with its gallery being used for exhibition space for the first time.
