Within the International Festival of Argentine Tango, on May 2 to 6, the 9th Belgrade Tango Get-Together is held at Belgrade Fair. In addition to the participation in the dancing workshops, led by the best known Argentine tango dancers, the participants will be able to dance day and night at big dances – Milongas. The visitors will enjoy also especially decorated Belgrade Fair Halls 7 and 8, i.e. the interior space especially arranged for this event. Within the Festival, the exhibition of famous brands representing the tango fashion world is held, as well.
This year’s guests and participants in the event are the greatest Argentine tango stars – Carlito Espinoza, Noelia Hurtado, Ivan Terrazas, Sara Grdan, Fausto Carpino, Stephanie Fesneau, as well as many other professionals.
The Festival will be opened by their own performance of the best known tango orchestras – the Russian Quartet Solo Tango and the 9th Belgrade Tango Get-Together will be closed by a big party organized by Tanguango Orchestra and DJ Pepe.
The Festival is important for the cultural / tourism offer of Belgrade, since it has been attracting many international guests beside the local dance fans for nine years.
