Ten years of successful execution of the project Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the key instrument of the EU strategy for competitiveness rising of the small and medium sized enterprises in Europe was celebrated by recognition awarding to the companies, which used the network services in the best way and signed business contracts with international companies.
On this occasion Belgrade Fair was among the companies awarded by special recognition for participation in the EEN project execution in Serbia.
EEN network, financed by EU since 2008, is active in more than 60 countries all over the world, it gathers 3,000 experts coming from more than 600 organisations, as one of the most important and sustainable EU projects. The EEN goal is to help the small and medium sized enterprises by free services to find easier and faster the foreign partners for their international projects. They have at their disposal the opportunities for linking with distributors, suppliers, partners in the production, innovations, technology exchange, franchising, as well as participation in the international business meetings, in business missions, support for the development of innovative ideas, information about the available EU programmes, education on the sector policies and EU legislation.
Serbia has been included in EEN right since the start and this network services were used by almost 17,000 Serbian small and medium sized enterprises.
