From November 1st to November 4th, 2023, in the United States of America, Las Vegas, the 90th jubilee World Congress of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) was held as the largest gathering of the exhibition industry in the world. This year, the host of the congress was one of the largest American organizers of fairs, exhibitions and various events, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
The Belgrade Fair has been a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) since 1957, and the six fairs we organize are entitled to bear the UFI label as confirmation of high-quality organization. The Belgrade Fair was awarded a special prize this year for the best poster promoting the exhibition industry as a whole. The winner was the poster for the International Tourism Fair campaign in 2019, designed and created by Kreativa Unlimited doo, a marketing agency from Novi Beograd. On this occasion, during participation in the European group of fairs and organizers, the Belgrade Fair announced that our country and the city of Belgrade were selected to be the next host of the Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade.
This congress provided a unique opportunity to acquire perspective about the current state of the exhibition industry, network with colleagues and discover the latest trends and innovations in the industry. It was also an opportunity to attend interactive sessions and lectures on best practices, new innovation technologies, and new business strategies, as well as to connect with colleagues from around the world.
