Since becoming a full member of the International Fair Union (UFI) in 1957, Belgrade Fair has consistently participated in the largest annual gatherings of professionals from the exhibition industry. The 91st congress of this global fair association, held from November 20th to 23rd, 2024, hosted by the Cologne Trade Fair in Germany, was no exception, with active participation from the Belgrade Fair.
Under this year’s slogan, “Changes to Chances” – #changes2chances, more than 550 leaders in the fair industry from 55 countries and regions discussed UFI’s activities throughout 2024, as well as plans for the following year, when UFI will celebrate its 100th anniversary.
The Belgrade Fair, with six of its events bearing the UFI mark as a testament to high organizational quality, is one of the most esteemed members among the record-breaking 900 members of this organization from 90 countries and regions.
In an era of unprecedented challenges, which simultaneously reveal a world of vast opportunities, UFI is recognized as the global representative of the exhibition industry. Therefore, this congress served as the most prominent venue for exchanging experiences and expertise, best practices, innovative technologies, and fresh business strategies.
This year, at the congress, Belgrade Fair will be represented by Director Danka Selić. The congress is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into this industry, connect and network with colleagues from around the world, and gain knowledge about the latest trends and innovations in the exhibition industry.
