The International Belgrade Book Fair, which was planned for October 25 – November 1, 2020, is postponed. If epidemiological conditions allow, it will be held in mid-December this year.
As the competent Republic Crisis Staff has not yet spoken in favor of holding the Book Fair, nor about the offered organizational modalities and security guarantees offered by the Belgrade Fair, it is estimated that in the period remaining until the originally planned date, in completely uncertain operating conditions, it is no longer possible to make quality and reliable preparations for this event.
The Belgrade Fair will continue to follow the recommendations and epidemiological assessments of the Crisis Staff and, in agreement with publishers, exhibitors and other participants in the Book Fair, will make a decision that will be in the best interest of the event.
The Belgrade Fair will inform the public about all of the above in a timely manner.
