In the year of the Anniversary celebration with global strength – 80 Years of Existence – Belgrade Fair celebrates actively also the Global Exhibitions Day, on June 7, 2017.
On these occasions, Belgrade Fair as “The Place Seeen by the Whole World” and the historical authority sending the most beautiful pictures of Serbia for decades, will present also an outstanding document of the local economic practice – the scientific research of its own sense and influence. This is the analysis of the Economics Institute from Belgrade of Belgrade Fair business influence to the economy of the City of Belgrade and the Republic of Serbia, by which such influence is estimated for the first time in an independent, professional and methodologically relevant way.
The Global Exhibitions Day will be used also as an opportunity to remind of the 80 years long Belgrade Fair history, previous fair events’ results and the preparations for the autumn fair events 2017. Belgrade Fair partners, guests and all other friends will be enabled to visit and be informed of the entire Fair Ground.
The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) appointed June 7 as the Global Exhibitions Day and the opportunity for all trade fair organizers, as well as other active participants in the exhibition industry to show in the appropriate way the importance of the exhibition industry for the contemporary business. This is industry in which about 4.6 million exhibitors and more than 260 million visitors generate consumption of almost 100 billion Euros a year.
This Day was celebrated for the first time in 2016, in more than 60 countries around the world, under participation of more than 1000 attendees and more than 30 Partnership Associations. Under the slogan “Think Global – Act Local”, various activities are performed on this Day all over the planet with the mutual objective to highlight the outstanding importance, but also vitality of the exhibition industry.
