The clock is ticking! The time has come for the largest, most significant and most representative regional development and technological event of its kind in this part of Europe, i.e., the 63rd International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements to showcase its current and historical background.
Five halls of Belgrade Fair will host and promote over 600 direct and indirect exhibitors, production or design companies, scientific-research and educational institutions, start-up projects and innovative individuals from thirty countries between 21 May and 24 May under the slogan “Time for New Technologies”. About half of the total number of exhibitors will be coming from abroad.
The interest in this fair event, the international integrator and the support of economic cooperation in the field of technique, technical and technological achievements and innovations in this field, is also seen in the pre-fair “area struggle”, for which as many as 30 percent more foreign companies compared to domestic ones have applied. It is noticeable that companies from China are more interested in promoting equipment and machinery at the fair. The Russian Federation will be presenting a whole range and research programme conducted by its most prestigious institutes in the field of future efficient technologies at the highest possible level. Exhibitors from Finland and several import-export companies from Egypt will also be showcasing their products and services for the first time. The national exhibitions and group performances of exhibitors from the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey will also be on display.
This time the key exhibition theme is also the global technological trend – promotion of Industry 4.0 through digital technologies, complete digitization of all production processes and business networking. The significance of Industry 4.0 and process automation is illustrated by the fact that most of the exhibitors are coming from the “Integra” field, a fair sector dedicated to numerically controlled machine tools (CNCs), machining centers, tools and tool systems. This year’s representation is followed by groups in the field of industrial electronics and measuring devices, HVAC and electric power. There has also been an increased interest in the exhibition space in the field of industry materials and components (semi-finished products and finished products), technology and equipment for preparation and purification of water, as well as systems and components used for packaging.
Exhibition programs of the exhibitors will show more than 100 innovations and novelties mostly dedicated to 3D sectors, robotics, CNC machines, application of laser technologies, plastics processing, automation of production processes, measuring instruments, tools … about half of which will be presented by domestic companies.
Almost all the most important state and educational factors promoting innovations and scientific-technical and technological research – ranging from the Ministry, Science, Technology and Technological Development, through Innovation Fund, Center for the Promotion of Science or Science Technology Park, to the most important educational and scientific-research institutes and institutions – will do their best to leave their mark in the exhibition and exceptional professional accompanying program of Technical Fair.
The 63rd International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements will be open from 10:00 until 18:00. The price of a single ticket totals RSD 400.00, whilst the parking fee at the fair costs RSD 150.00 an hour.
