The Belgrade Fair was founded on this day, September 11, 1937. During the past decades, it was one of the leaders in the creation and realization of the economic life of the country, hosted about 500,000 exhibitors from 180 countries, hosted almost 65 million visitors, and organized nearly 3,300 events.
With its history and work, the Belgrade Fair marked an entire century and remained a key link between the Serbian economy and the world. From year to year it moved the standards, permanently improving the economy and society as a whole. That is why the fair slogan “A place that the whole world has seen” is deeply grounded in real events and general, common benefit.
Despite all the difficult days, historical turmoil and Golgotha, as they happen these days as well, the employees have been ready to enter new and bigger endeavors with knowledge and experience, to welcome every next birthday of The Belgrade Fair, as a successful company, welcoming old and new exhibitors and visitors. Only in this way, with such cooperation, with business partners and dedicated guests and visitors, it was possible to build a domestic fair empire.
The Belgrade Fair would like to thank for all the beautiful wishes and congratulations it has received in recent days from all over the country and the world. It is not immodest to say – because The Belgrade Fair deserved them.
